Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 desktop overview

This Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 desktop PC ships new with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor, 64GB DDR5 memory, a 2TB PCIe NVMe SSD and a GeForce RTX 5060 8GB GDDR7 graphics card. A 750W power supply, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and Windows 11 Home complete the platform. The tower chassis includes Thunderbolt 4, three DisplayPort outputs, HDMI, USB 3.2 Type-C and an SD card reader.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Content creators and developers who need 24 cores, 36MB cache and high single-thread speeds up to 5.6GHz will benefit from the Core Ultra 9 285 and 64GB DDR5. Gamers targeting 1440p with RTX 5060 performance and GDDR7 memory also fit this build. Buyers who want more storage than 2TB, multiple graphics cards or a smaller form factor should look elsewhere.

The spec that decides fit

The single specification that decides whether this is the right part is the GeForce RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7 on a PCI Express x16 slot paired with a 750W PSU. If your workload needs more VRAM, a higher GPU tier or a different power envelope, this configuration will not match.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 64 GB DDR5 option or look for a different capacity?

This system ships with 64 GB of DDR5 memory installed, so there is no alternative capacity to select for this configuration.

What does the Ultra 9-285's 5.6 GHz boost clock mean once the PC is running real workloads?

The processor can reach 5.6 GHz on up to eight performance cores when thermal headroom allows, giving short bursts of extra speed for demanding tasks.

How does the PCI Express x16 graphics interface limit the RTX 5060 in practice?

The card runs on a PCI Express x16 slot, providing full bandwidth for the GeForce RTX 5060 with 8 GB GDDR7 memory.
