Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 Overview

This Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 desktop PC is built for gaming and entertainment. It runs Windows 11 Pro on a 15th Gen Ultra 7-265 processor with 20 cores and 20 threads. The system includes 32GB DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7.

Suitable Buyers and Limitations

This configuration suits users who need a VR Ready tower with a 750W power supply, Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 7 connectivity. Buyers who want more storage than the 512GB NVMe SSD and 6TB HDD provide should look elsewhere. Systems without a dedicated graphics card or with lower memory capacity will not match this specification.

Deciding Specification

The GeForce RTX 5070 GPU with 12GB GDDR7 memory and PCI Express x16 interface is the single specification that decides whether this is the right part. It delivers VR Ready performance for gaming and creative workloads. If your applications require a different graphics architecture or memory amount, this desktop will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the 14.7 IN wide tower need for the 750W power supply airflow?

The chassis measures 14.7 IN wide, 17.50 IN deep and 7 IN high; leave several centimetres behind the rear fan so the 750W PSU can exhaust heat freely.

Which slot receives the RTX 5070 during assembly, and what cable is often forgotten?

Seat the GeForce RTX 5070 in the PCI Express x16 slot and connect its dedicated 12VHPWR power cable — missing this cable is the most common oversight.

When should the 6TB hard drive be checked or replaced?

Run SMART diagnostics on the 6TB HDD annually; mechanical drives typically show wear after three to five years of continuous use.
