Tower desktop with Ultra 7-265 and RTX 5070

The Dell Tower Plus EBT2250 is a new desktop computer built around a 15th Gen Ultra 7-265 processor with 20 cores and 30 MB cache. It ships with 64 GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card featuring 12 GB of GDDR7 memory. The system includes a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD paired with a 2 TB hard drive for additional capacity. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed.

PCIe x16 graphics slot and 750 W power supply

The RTX 5070 connects through a PCI Express x16 interface and the unit is powered by a 750 W supply. Display outputs comprise three DisplayPort connectors and two HDMI ports. Wireless connectivity uses 802.11be with Bluetooth 5.4, while a single RJ-45 port provides wired networking. Thunderbolt 4 and USB 3.2 Type-C ports are available for high-speed peripherals.

64 GB DDR5 memory capacity

The 64 GB DDR5 configuration determines whether this system suits workloads that need large memory bandwidth. Buyers who require more than 64 GB of system memory or a different memory generation should look elsewhere. The installed memory uses DDR5 DIMM modules and no other DDR type is compatible.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 256GB NVMe SSD plus 2TB HDD or a single larger SSD?

The 256GB NVMe SSD holds the OS and apps for fast boot times, while the 2TB HDD adds bulk storage for games and media.

What does the 5.3 GHz boost clock on the Ultra 7-265 deliver in daily use?

The 20-core processor reaches 5.3 GHz on performance cores, giving quick responsiveness in heavy multitasking and creative workloads.

How does the Thunderbolt 4 port limit external GPU or storage speeds?

Thunderbolt 4 provides up to 40 Gbps bandwidth, so external NVMe drives or GPU enclosures run near their native PCIe speeds.
