Front Camera Module for Venue 11 Pro 5130

This Dell OEM front-facing camera module is built specifically for the Venue 11 Pro 5130 tablet. It replaces the front-side camera unit located on the LCD side of the device. The part is identified by Dell part number RM7F8 and restores the original imaging function for video calls and front-camera applications.

Direct OEM Replacement for RM7F8

The module serves as a direct swap for a damaged or non-functional front camera on the Venue 11 Pro 5130 tablet. Installation is warranted when the existing front camera fails to capture images, shows persistent artefacts or has been physically damaged. It is not intended for tablets outside the 5130 model line or for rear-camera repairs.

Sustained Imaging Operation

Under continuous use such as extended video conferencing the camera maintains stable operation within the tablet's thermal envelope. The OEM design matches the original power draw and sensor timing so performance does not degrade during long sessions. Image quality remains consistent with the factory specification for the front-facing position.

Questions about this item

Does the RM7F8 camera module fit the Dell Venue 11 Pro 5130 tablet without extra brackets?

Yes, the RM7F8 is the OEM front-facing camera made for the Venue 11 Pro 5130 and mounts directly in the original slot.

What is the tricky step when replacing the front camera on the Venue 11 Pro 5130?

The flexible ribbon cable must be seated fully in the ZIF connector before locking the latch; a partial insert causes no image or a green tint.

Will the front camera on the Venue 11 Pro 5130 need periodic cleaning or replacement?

The module has no user-serviceable parts; only clean the outer glass with a microfibre cloth if images become hazy.
