Dell Vnp2H system board for OptiPlex 990

This Dell Vnp2H system board fits the OptiPlex 990 chassis and accepts LGA1155 processors without including a CPU. It serves repair technicians or IT departments restoring a failed motherboard in an existing OptiPlex 990 desktop. Buyers who need a different form factor or a newer socket cannot use this board.

Direct replacement installs

Installation reuses the original OptiPlex 990 standoffs, I/O shield and power connectors, so no case modifications are required. The board ships without a processor or memory, so the installer must supply compatible LGA1155 parts and apply fresh thermal paste. Front-panel headers follow the Dell layout; builders using a non-Dell case will find the pin-out does not match standard ATX headers.
