Business tower desktop with 14th Gen Intel Core i3-14100 quad-core processor, 8GB DDR5 memory, 1TB SSD plus 1TB HDD storage, Intel UHD Graphics 730, Wi-Fi 802.11AX and BlueTooth 5.
The Dell Vostro 3030 is a new tower desktop built for office work. It runs Windows 11 Pro on a 14th Gen Intel Core i3-14100 quad-core processor with 12MB Smart Cache. The system includes 8GB DDR5 memory and dual storage with a 1TB SSD plus a 1TB HDD. A wired keyboard and mouse are supplied in the box.
Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 730 drives two monitors via HDMI and DisplayPort for spreadsheet and document workflows. Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11AX and BlueTooth 5 handle network and peripheral connections. Buyers who need a discrete graphics card for CAD, rendering or gaming should look at a different system.
The 180W unit powers the included Core i3-14100 processor, integrated graphics, memory and both drives. Adding high-draw components such as a dedicated GPU or many extra drives is not supported by this power budget.
The 180W internal power supply defines the practical upgrade ceiling for this tower. It supports the factory configuration of the Core i3-14100, integrated graphics, 8GB DDR5, 1TB SSD and 1TB HDD. Adding a discrete graphics card or additional high-power components would exceed the available wattage.

Open the tower, locate the DIMM slots, insert the DDR5 modules until they click, then reseat the side panel; the step many skip is checking that the new sticks match the installed DDR5 speed.
The 180 W power supply is the likeliest candidate; its fan bearings or capacitors typically wear out before the SSD, HDD or Intel UHD Graphics 730.
The 180 W power supply ceiling is reached before thermal limits, so sustained 4.70 GHz boosts on all cores can throttle the processor.
