Questions about this item

Does the VT6G4 unit include its own fan assembly for future replacement?

The 870 W redundant module is a self-contained hot-plug unit with an integrated cooling fan, so the entire cartridge is swapped rather than servicing the fan alone.

What thermal or power threshold triggers the first protection event under continuous load?

The supply is rated for 870 W; exceeding that output activates over-current protection and will shut the module down to protect the R710 or T610 chassis.
