Dual-port 10GBase-T server adapter

The Dell W1GCR Broadcom 57810 is a plug-in network card built for servers that need two 10Gigabit Ethernet connections over twisted-pair copper cabling. It installs in a PCI Express x8 slot and presents two RJ-45 ports for standard Cat6a or Cat7 patch leads.

Fits a PCIe x8 slot and replaces two 1G links

The card occupies a single x8 expansion slot and draws power from the bus, so no extra power cables are required. Two onboard ports consolidate two separate gigabit connections into one adapter, freeing a second slot for storage or GPU expansion in dense server chassis.

Suits servers upgrading to 10G copper without fibre

This adapter is aimed at IT teams moving existing copper infrastructure to 10GBase-T speeds. It is not intended for desktop workstations lacking a full-height x8 slot, for environments that require SFP+ fibre uplinks, or for builds needing more than two 10G ports.
