Dell WD19 Thunderbolt 3 Dock 180W
The Dell WD19 is a Thunderbolt 3 docking station that delivers 180 W of power through a single USB-C cable. It adds two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs, one HDMI 2.0b port and a USB-C multifunction DisplayPort for video. Gigabit Ethernet, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports plus audio connections complete the expansion.
Suits Dell Latitude, XPS and Rugged owners.
This dock targets users of listed Latitude, XPS and Rugged models running Windows 10, Ubuntu 18.04 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Buyers whose laptops lack a USB-C port with DisplayPort Alt Mode and power delivery cannot use the integrated 3.3 ft cable. Systems needing more than three simultaneous displays should consider a different solution.
180 W power delivery via USB-C
The included 180 W AC adapter supplies up to 19.5 V at 6.7 A or 9.23 A through the dock’s USB-C upstream port. This single figure determines whether the station can charge your specific notebook while driving peripherals. If your device requires more input power, the WD19 will not meet that need.
