Dell XPS 13 Snapdragon X Elite Laptop

The Dell XPS 13 is a thin-and-light laptop built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 processor with 12 cores and 16GB of onboard LPDDR5X memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home and an 8TB PCIe NVMe SSD. The 13.4-inch 2.8K touchscreen runs at 2880x1800 resolution and 60Hz. Integrated Qualcomm Adreno graphics handle visual output.

Installation and common issues

Memory and storage are soldered or integrated, so no user upgrades are possible after purchase. The box is opened by technicians to install the advertised configuration before shipping. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and activated. Only USB-C ports are available for power and peripherals; there is no HDMI output.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Suits mobile professionals who want a lightweight 2.6lb device with a large 8TB drive, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, fingerprint reader and backlit keyboard. Not for buyers who need memory or storage expansion, discrete graphics performance, HDMI video output, or a higher-wattage power supply than the included 60W USB-C adapter.
