97Wh Replacement Battery for XPS 15 9570

This 97Wh lithium-ion battery is built for the Dell XPS 15 9570 series including the D1605 and D1941T configurations. It uses six premium cells to restore full runtime on machines that originally shipped with an 11.4V pack. Buyers with other XPS 15 generations or different 9570 sub-models cannot use this unit.

Two Distinct 9570 Battery Designs

Dell shipped two physically different batteries for the 9570 chassis and they are not interchangeable. You must match the original battery against the product photos before ordering; a mismatch will prevent installation. No adapter or bracket can bridge the difference.

97Wh Capacity and Everyday Headroom

The 97Wh rating delivers a full day of typical office work, web browsing and video playback on a single charge. Heavy workloads such as sustained rendering or gaming will drain the pack faster, requiring a mid-day top-up. The 100% compatibility claim applies only to the exact models listed.

Questions about this item

Which Dell XPS 15 9570 sub-model does the 97Wh 6GTPY battery fit?

The 97Wh 6GTPY battery is compatible with the Dell XPS 15-9570-D1605, the 15 9570 i7 UHD, and the 15-9570-D1941T. Match your original battery to the product photos before ordering because two different batteries exist for this series and they are not interchangeable.

What does the 97Wh capacity deliver in daily use?

A 97Wh lithium-ion pack stores more energy than lower-capacity alternatives, giving longer runtime between charges for tasks such as document work, media streaming or general multitasking on a 11.4V system.

What voltage standard does the 6-cell pack follow and what does that limit?

The pack is built for 11.4V Dell laptops; the six premium cells operate at that voltage so the battery will only work in models designed for the 11.4V platform.
