13.4 inch 3.5k OLED touchscreen

The Dell XPS 9320 Plus is a 13.4 inch laptop with a 3456 x 2160 OLED touchscreen. It runs Windows 11 Pro on a 12-core Intel Core i5-1240P processor reaching 4.4 GHz turbo. The system includes 16GB memory and a 512GB SSD. Integrated graphics handle the display output.

Suits mobile professionals needing a sharp display

This configuration suits users who prioritise a high-resolution OLED touch panel in a compact 13.4 inch chassis. The 12-core processor and 16GB memory support typical productivity workloads. Buyers requiring discrete graphics performance for gaming or intensive rendering should consider other systems. The integrated graphics limit 3D capability.

Integrated graphics define visual workloads

The graphics chip is integrated on the processor, so there is no separate GPU. This architecture shares system memory and limits performance in GPU-accelerated tasks. Buyers who need dedicated video memory or higher frame rates in creative applications should look for a model with discrete graphics. The 512GB SSD provides the primary storage.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 GB of soldered memory on this XPS 9320 Plus ever need to be upgraded?

The 16 GB is soldered to the motherboard and cannot be upgraded later; if you need more capacity you would have to replace the entire laptop.

What limits sustained performance first on the Core i5-1240P in this chassis?

The thin 0.60 in chassis and integrated graphics share a single cooling solution, so thermal throttling on the 12-core processor appears before power or memory bandwidth limits.

How loud and hot does the XPS 9320 Plus get when the 3.5k OLED touchscreen and i5-1240P run all day?

The OLED panel draws less power than LCD at typical brightness, but the 12-core CPU and integrated graphics push the compact vapor-chamber cooler, so fans spin up audibly and the palm-rest area becomes warm during prolonged loads.
