Genuine Dell OEM WLAN antenna kit for XPS 9700

This genuine Dell OEM kit supplies the internal wireless antenna cables designed for the XPS 17 9700 laptop. It is built for units equipped with the optional Killer AX500s DBS wireless module. The part restores the factory antenna routing when the original cables are damaged or missing. Buyers who need antennas for a different wireless card or another laptop model cannot use this kit.

Installation fits the XPS 17 9700 chassis

The cables follow the original routing inside the XPS 17 9700 body and connect directly to the Killer AX500s DBS module. No extra brackets or adapters are required beyond what the laptop already provides. Replacing the kit frees the system from signal drop-outs caused by frayed or disconnected antenna leads. Builders working on a different chassis or a non-Killer wireless configuration will need a separate antenna solution.

Questions about this item

What is the first limit you hit when the antenna cables run continuously inside the XPS 9700?

The cables are passive parts; they do not generate heat or throttle, so no electrical limit appears under sustained use.

How much noise or heat do the antenna cables add during all-day operation?

Zero — they contain no active electronics, so they produce no noise, no heat and draw no power.
