17-inch Dell XPS 9710 laptop with RTX 3050

The Dell XPS 9710 is a 17-inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-11800H eight-core processor that reaches 4.6 GHz turbo frequency. It includes a dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 graphics card with 4 GB GDDR6 memory. The system ships with 4 GB of RAM and a 960 GB SSD running Windows 11 Home.

Ideal for portable creative work and light gaming

The 17.0-inch FHD+ 1920 x 1200 non-touch display suits users who want a larger workspace in a silver chassis. The eight-core CPU and dedicated GPU handle photo editing, video playback and entry-level 3D tasks. Buyers who need more system memory for virtual machines, heavy multitasking or large creative projects should look elsewhere because the memory capacity is fixed at 4 GB.

4 GB soldered memory limits upgrades

The laptop provides only 4 GB of system memory with no expansion slots mentioned in the specifications. This single constraint determines whether the machine can run your workload smoothly. If your applications require more than 4 GB of RAM, this model will not meet the requirement regardless of processor or graphics performance.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the RTX 3050 GPU is active after Windows 11 Home boots?

Open Device Manager and expand Display adapters — the GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU with 4GB GDDR6 should appear alongside the Intel integrated graphics.

What ships with the XPS 9710 and what must I supply myself?

The laptop, a power adapter and Windows 11 Home pre-installed are included; the 960GB SSD and 4GB RAM are already fitted, so no storage or memory modules need to be purchased separately.

Which SSD capacity matches the 1TB label in the highlights?

The installed drive is 960GB; the 1TB (1000GB) figure in the highlights is the marketed capacity, so the single configuration offered provides 960GB of solid-state storage.
