Questions about this item

Should I pick the 32 GB / 2 TB version of the XPS 9730 or a smaller configuration?

The 32 GB RAM and 2 TB SSD give headroom for large projects, virtual machines and modern games without needing upgrades later.

What does the 5.4 GHz turbo figure mean when the laptop is under load?

The Core i9-13900H can reach 5.4 GHz on up to 14 cores for short bursts, speeding up renders, compiles and frame-rate spikes before thermals throttle it back.

How does the RTX 4070 with 8 GB GDDR6X connect to the rest of the system?

The GPU uses a dedicated PCIe link inside the chassis, so its 8 GB of GDDR6X memory is not shared with the 32 GB system RAM.
