Genuine Dell XPS M1530 LCD back cover

This genuine Dell OEM replacement lid assembly fits XPS M1530 notebooks with 15.4 inch LED-backlit displays. It arrives in pink and includes the back plastic shell, left and right hinges, wireless antenna cables and the camera cable. The part number is P310F and it is supplied new.

LED display compatibility only

The lid is designed exclusively for systems equipped with LED backlighting and will not fit CCFL-lit models. Integrated hinges and pre-routed antenna and camera cables simplify installation for repair technicians or experienced owners. Verify your service tag or manual to confirm the backlight type before ordering.

Replaces damaged or discoloured original lids

This assembly restores the structural integrity and appearance of a cracked, loose or faded factory cover on the XPS M1530. The upgrade is worthwhile when hinge stiffness has failed or the pink finish is preferred over the original colour. It does not address screen panel faults or backlight issues.

Questions about this item

Does the Dell P310F lid assembly fit both LED and CCFL backlit XPS M1530 models?

This P310F pink cover is built only for XPS M1530 units with LED backlit displays. It will not fit the 15.4 inch models that use CCFL backlighting.

Which Dell XPS M1530 chassis screw pattern and hinge mount does the P310F pink lid match?

The P310F assembly uses the exact hinge mounting points and screw bosses of the XPS M1530 15.4 inch chassis, including the left and right hinges pre-installed.

When installing the P310F pink lid on an XPS M1530, which cable routing step is most often missed?

The wireless antenna cables and camera cable must be threaded through the hinge channels before the lid is secured; skipping this traps the cables and prevents the display from closing.
