What the adapter delivers

The DELL ZB-A1496 supplies 85W over a USB-C cable at 20V and 11.8A. It is built for MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro models from 2015 through 2022, plus iPad Pro and other USB-C devices that accept the same power profile.

Included storage bag

A compact pouch ships with the charger so the brick and cable stay together in a backpack or briefcase. The bag adds no electronic function but prevents tangled cords and protects the connector during daily transport.

Corded design and safety circuitry

The unit uses a fixed mains cord with a two-pin North American plug and integrates over-current, over-voltage, overload, temperature and short-circuit protection with auto-recovery. The corded layout means no separate IEC lead to lose, while the smart chip negotiates PD 3.0 rates for any attached device.
