Material Limits

The galvanized steel front plate resists corrosion from rain and road spray, while the stainless steel mounting strap and bolt prevent rust at the fastening points. The cover fits openings up to 2-1/2 inches wide by 5 inches tall; larger or irregular holes will not seal properly.

Installation Check

Verify that the pole wall is flat and thick enough for the strap to clamp securely without distortion. Confirm the access hole dimensions do not exceed the stated maximum, and ensure no internal wiring or conduit protrudes into the cover’s seating area.
