Desky Dual Scalloped Sit-Stand Desk

The Desky Dual Scalloped Laminate Sit Stand Desk is a height-adjustable workstation built for home offices and professional environments. Its dual-motor lifting system moves the surface at 1.6 inches per second across a 23.6 to 49.2 inch range, covering 95 percent of users. The white and grey laminate top measures 70.9 by 29.5 inches. An anti-collision system and whisper-quiet operation support daily transitions.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The dual-motor frame delivers 330.7 lbs of lifting capacity, distributing power evenly through both legs for stable movement under full equipment loads. The 3-stage frame design maintains rigidity during repeated height changes, preventing wobble when monitors and accessories are positioned on the surface. BIFMA compliance confirms the structure meets commercial-grade durability standards for continuous daily use. Tool-free installation simplifies setup without compromising frame strength.

Scalloped Desktop Clearance

The defining specification is the dual scalloped cut-out on the desktop rear edge. This ergonomic recess allows the desk to sit flush against a wall or back-to-back with another desk while preserving clearance for monitor-arm mounts and cable routing. Without this feature, monitor arms would require additional stand-off distance or prevent wall placement entirely. The melamine laminate surface resists daily wear across the full 70.9-inch width.

Questions about this item

How much noise and heat does the dual-motor system produce when the desk runs all day?

The dual motor lifting system is described as whisper quiet and moves at 1.6 inches per second, so daily adjustments stay low-noise; the frame conceals the motors and no heat output is mentioned.

What must I already own for this desk to work?

The desk ships as a complete height-adjustable frame with laminate top, LED controller and four memory presets; you only need a standard mains outlet to power the dual motors.

Will my existing monitor arms clamp onto the 29.5-inch deep scalloped top?

The dual scalloped cut-out is designed so the desk can sit flush against a wall while still leaving clearance for monitor-arm clamps on the rear edge.
