Desk Type & User Fit

The Desky Dual Softwood Sit Stand Desk is a height-adjustable standing desk built for home and professional offices. It uses a dual-motor lifting system to move the desktop smoothly between sitting and standing positions. The frame is rated for commercial use and meets BIFMA compliance standards.

Who It Suits & Who It Does Not

This desk suits users who need a wide height range that fits 95 percent of body heights, from 23.6 inches up to 49.2 inches. It also suits anyone who values a unique, sustainably sourced softwood top with visible grain. Buyers who require a higher weight capacity than 308 lbs or a larger desktop than 72 by 30 inches should look at other options.

Deciding Specification

The dual-motor lifting speed of 1.6 inches per second moves the desk through its full range in roughly 10 seconds. This speed, combined with the 308 lb load rating and anti-collision system, determines whether the desk matches the pace and durability demands of a busy shared workstation.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Desky Dual Softwood Sit Stand Desk and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the genuine New Zealand pine desktop, the dual-motor steel frame, grommets, and all hardware for tool-free assembly. No monitor arms, cable trays, or other accessories are included.

Should I choose the 72 x 30 inch American Rustic Pine top or a different size?

The 72 x 30 inch Rustic Pine top gives a spacious 1.5 m² work surface; select it if you need room for dual monitors and paperwork, otherwise pick a smaller top to fit a tighter footprint.

What does the 1.6 inches per second lift speed mean in daily use?

It moves the desk from the 23.6 inch minimum to the 49.2 inch maximum in roughly 10 seconds, so you can switch between sitting and standing without breaking workflow.
