Solid Hardwood Desktop

The Desky Zero Hardwood Office Desk in Pheasantwood with Matte Black frame is a fixed-height workstation built for professionals who want a genuine solid wood surface. The 1" thick hardwood top shows natural grain protected by a polyurethane finish, and the steel frame provides a stable 27.5" working height. It suits home offices, studios and commercial settings that value sustainably sourced materials.

Upgrade from Particle Board

This desk replaces composite or veneered tops that sag under heavy monitors and equipment over time. The 308.6 lbs capacity handles dual screens, laptops and studio gear without flex, while the integrated cable channel keeps cords organised. The jump is worth it when durability and a premium wood aesthetic matter more than height adjustability.

Tool-Free Frame Assembly

The steel frame assembles without tools, and the desktop sits on top for a quick setup in any room. The frame weighs 79.4 lbs, so two people make positioning easier. Common issues include aligning the pre-drilled holes on the hardwood top and ensuring the cable channel sits flush against the wall.

Questions about this item

What are the exact desktop dimensions for the 60 x 30 in Pheasantwood model?

The solid hardwood desktop measures 60 inches long by 30 inches deep and is 1 inch thick with a clear polyurethane finish.

How is the steel frame assembled without tools, and which step is most often missed?

The fixed 27.5 inch height frame uses tool-free connectors; the step most often missed is fully seating each cross-brace into the leg sockets before tightening the integrated cam locks by hand.

When will the polyurethane finish on the hardwood top need re-coating?

The protective polyurethane finish is designed for commercial use; under normal office conditions it typically lasts several years before a light re-coat is needed, depending on wear and cleaning habits.
