Desk Specifications

The Desky Zero Mini is a compact hardwood desk measuring 32 by 20 inches with a Space Gray steel frame and a Maple high-gloss surface. It is built for home offices, apartments or dorm rooms where floor space is limited but a solid worksurface is still required. The fixed-height design keeps the top at 27.5 inches for a consistent typing posture.

Setup Requirements

Verify that the intended room can accommodate the 32 by 20 inch footprint and that a 27.5 inch working height suits the user’s seating. The frame arrives ready for tool-free assembly, so no screwdrivers or Allen keys are needed. Ensure the floor is level because the fixed legs do not offer height adjustment.

Build Quality and Daily Use

A sustainably sourced Maple top is sealed with a clear polyurethane coating that resists scratches and spills during everyday work. The steel frame is rated for 140 kg or 308.6 pounds, so multiple monitors and accessories remain stable without wobble. The high-gloss finish wipes clean easily, maintaining a professional appearance over years of commercial or residential use.

Questions about this item

Does the 32 x 20 in hardwood top arrive assembled or must I attach the steel frame?

The desk ships in flat packs; the solid maple top and space-gray steel frame are included and connect with tool-free hardware so no separate parts or tools are needed.

Is the 27.5 in fixed height suitable for both sitting and standing use?

The frame locks at 27.5 inches, a standard seated height; it does not adjust, so standing work would require a separate converter or taller surface.

Will the 140 kg load rating handle dual monitors plus a desktop tower?

The frame is tested to 140 kg (308.6 lb), enough for multiple monitors, a laptop and a mid-tower on the 32 x 20 in surface without exceeding the limit.
