Compact hardwood desk for small offices

The Desky Zero Mini Hardwood Desk measures 40 by 24 inches and suits apartments, dorm rooms or cozy home offices. Its sustainably sourced teak surface is sealed with a clear polyurethane coating for scratch and spill resistance. The fixed height of 27.5 inches provides a stable, ergonomic working position throughout the day. A robust steel frame supports up to 308.6 pounds of equipment.

Fixed-height stability and cable management

Fixed-height legs eliminate wobble and deliver unparalleled stability for monitors, laptops and office essentials. The steel frame is finished in white to match the teak top and maintains rigidity under the full 140 kg load rating. Two integrated grommets route cables cleanly through the surface, reducing clutter without extra accessories. No moving parts mean silent operation and no power draw.

Tool-free assembly and long-term durability

The desk ships with all hardware needed for tool-free assembly, so setup requires no additional equipment. A five-year labor guarantee covers the frame and finish in commercial and residential use. The polyurethane coating protects the hardwood from daily wear, preserving the high-gloss appearance over time. Buyers needing height adjustment or larger surface area should consider other models.

Questions about this item

How is the desk assembled and what step causes the most issues?

The desk uses tool-free assembly; the step people get wrong is not seating the leg brackets fully into the hardwood top before tightening the hand knobs, which leaves a slight wobble.

What maintenance will the teak hardwood surface need later?

The polyurethane coating protects against scratches and spills; wipe with a damp cloth and reapply a thin polyurethane coat only if the finish dulls after years of use.

What limit appears first during sustained heavy use?

The fixed-height steel frame is rated for 140 kg (308.6 lb); exceeding that load is the first limit you will reach under sustained use.
