Compact Hardwood Desk for Small Spaces

The Desky Zero Mini provides a 40 by 24 inch solid hardwood surface finished in walnut with a white steel frame. It is built for home offices, apartments or dorm rooms where floor area is limited but a durable worksurface is still required. The fixed height of 27.5 inches gives a consistent ergonomic position without moving parts. Grommets are included for cable routing.

Capacity and Weight Limits

The steel frame is rated to hold up to 140 kilograms, which converts to 308.6 pounds, so multiple monitors, a laptop and peripherals sit securely. The compact footprint still leaves enough room for a dual-mount arm and keyboard tray. Buyers who need a larger surface for expansive multi-monitor arrays or wide drawing tablets will find the 40 inch width restrictive.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

As a fixed-height desk with no motors or electronics, it produces no operational noise and draws no power. The polyurethane coating resists scratches and spills without off-gassing concerns. The solid hardwood top and powder-coated steel frame remain stable under load without flex or wobble. There are no thermal considerations for the furniture itself.

Questions about this item

Will a standard 24-inch monitor and a laptop fit on the 40 x 24 in desktop without overhang?

The 40 x 24 in surface holds a 24-inch monitor and laptop side by side with room for a keyboard in front.

How can I confirm the desk is stable after the tool-free assembly?

Press down on each corner; the fixed-height steel frame should not wobble and the polyurethane-coated hardwood should feel rigid.

Does the box include the grommets shown in the Walnut / White finish, or must they be purchased separately?

The grommets are pre-installed in the desktop; the package contains the hardwood top, steel frame legs, and all hardware needed for tool-free assembly.
