Desky Zero Scalloped Laminate Desk Prime Oak Grey 59.1 x 29.5 in with Grommets

Desk dimensions and intended use

The Desky Zero Scalloped Laminate Desk measures 59.1 by 29.5 inches and provides a spacious desktop surface for monitors, laptops and office accessories. Its fixed height design suits home offices, study rooms and professional workstations where a steady work surface is preferred. The scalloped ergonomic edge allows users to sit closer for improved comfort during long sessions.

Fixed height and frame constraints

The steel frame sits at 27.5 inches without the desktop and includes adjustable studs with a tolerance of plus or minus 1 inch for levelling. Because the height is not motorised or crank adjustable, the desk cannot accommodate standing work or per-user height changes. The melamine laminate top is 1 inch thick and the assembled unit weighs 79.4 pounds, so the desk must remain in its final position once built.

Assembly practicalities and common issues

Assembly requires attaching the heavy desktop to the steel frame and setting the levelling studs on uneven floors. The integrated cable channel is recommended for routing wires, but the grommet locations are fixed and may not align with every monitor arm or power strip layout. The melamine surface resists daily wear yet can chip if sharp or heavy objects are dragged across it.
