Wireless charger for Samsung Google Nokia

This wireless charging pad is built for owners of compatible Samsung Galaxy, Google Nexus and Nokia Lumia models who want a simple cable-free way to keep their phones powered at a desk or bedside. It delivers up to 5 W of received power through a 5 mm transmission distance and measures 156 by 85 by 10 mm in a black finish.

Not for users needing faster wireless speeds

The pad supplies a single 5 V 1 A output with a stated charge efficiency of 70 percent, so it will feel slow compared with modern 15 W or higher Qi chargers. Buyers who want rapid top-ups, multi-device charging stands or MagSafe alignment should look at other products that specify those capabilities.

Input requires 5 V 1.5 A source

The unit needs a 5 V 1.5 A power adapter, which is not included, so you must provide a suitable USB charger or port. If your existing adapter only delivers 1 A the pad may not operate at its rated output, making this the key compatibility check before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 5 mm transmission distance still charge my phone if I keep a thin case on it?

Yes, the pad delivers 5 W received power across a 5 mm gap, so a slim case will not block charging.

How can I confirm the Q9/MC-02A is delivering the rated 5 W after I plug it in?

The charger outputs 5 V at 1000 mA; a phone showing roughly 5 W input or a USB meter reading 5 V 1 A confirms it is working.

Does the box include the AC adapter needed for the 5 V 1.5 A input, or must I buy it separately?

The product is described as an AC adapter, so the power supply is included; no separate purchase is required.
