DEVCON 14240 Epoxy Adhesive Applicator

This two-part epoxy adhesive comes in a 25 mL syringe for precise dispensing. It bonds ceramic, concrete, metal, plastic and wood in interior and exterior applications. The 1:1 mix ratio simplifies preparation and the package includes resin, hardener and a mixing stick.

Suitable for repairs needing solvent-resistant.

Users who require a marine-grade adhesive should look elsewhere. The 4-minute working time suits quick assembly but not large or complex layouts. Zero VOC content and low odour make it appropriate for enclosed spaces.

Cures by moisture to a gray finish in 12 hours

Full strength develops after the stated cure period rather than during the initial set. Maximum application temperature is 90 °F. Coverage reaches approximately 150 sq in per 25 mL syringe.

Questions about this item

Does this epoxy syringe include both the resin and hardener needed to start bonding?

Yes, the 25 mL syringe contains both resin and hardener in a 1:01 mix ratio so no separate purchase is required.

Can I apply this adhesive over a previously cured epoxy joint without sanding?

The gray adhesive bonds to ceramic, concrete, metal, plastic and wood, but the cured surface should be clean and lightly abraded for best adhesion.

How can I confirm the bond is fully cured after the 12 hour period?

After 12 hours the joint will be gray, hard, solvent resistant and water-resistant, indicating full cure at room temperature.
