HVLP Spray Gun for Gravity Feed

The DeVilbiss EXL-620G-18 is an HVLP spray gun designed for gravity-fed fluid delivery. It operates at very low to medium fluid delivery speeds and features a 1.8 mm nozzle size. The gun is built for professional finishing applications where controlled atomisation is required.

Includes 1 L Aluminium Gravity Cup

The gun comes supplied with a 1 L aluminium gravity cup that attaches directly to the body. This cup provides a 1 qt capacity for coating material. The gravity feed design allows the fluid to flow into the nozzle without requiring a pressurised pot, simplifying setup and cleaning for smaller jobs.

Suited for Medium Viscosity Coatings

This model suits painters applying medium viscosity materials with a 12 in pattern width at 16 cfm and 30 psi. It is not intended for high-volume production lines needing larger fluid passages or pressure-fed systems. Users requiring different atomisation characteristics should select a tip size matched to their specific coating.

Questions about this item

How often will the 1.8 mm fluid tip need replacement with daily use?

The 1.8 mm stainless steel fluid tip resists wear from abrasive coatings; replace it when the spray pattern becomes uneven or fluid delivery drops noticeably.

What limits continuous spraying at the 16 cfm air consumption rate?

The compressor must supply 16 cfm at 30 psi without pressure drop; if the pump cannot keep up, the gun will sputter and the pattern will narrow.

How much heat does the gun body generate during an all-day job?

The aluminium gun body stays near ambient temperature because expanding air cools the fluid path; only the compressor and hose warm up significantly.
