Product identity

Broforce 80256 is a downloadable PC action game published by Devolver Digital and developed by Free Lives. It activates through Steam and delivers a side-scrolling run-and-gun campaign for solo players or groups.

Sustained play experience

Levels are fully destructible, so firefights reshape the terrain and create new paths or hazards as the match continues. Chain reactions of fire, napalm and debris keep the screen busy during longer sessions without scripted slowdowns.

Installation and common issues

A Steam account is required to redeem the code and download the files, so buyers without an account must create one first. The product key is region-locked and will not activate in the listed blocked countries.

Minimum system requirements

The game runs on Windows Vista or later with a 64-bit processor, an Intel Core Duo or faster CPU and 1 GB of RAM. Integrated graphics that support Shader Model 3.0 are sufficient, so no dedicated video card is needed.

How much power does the Broforce 80256 download draw on my PC?

The Steam download itself uses minimal electricity; actual power draw depends on your graphics card and CPU while the game runs.

What do I need to own before I can activate the 80256 Steam code?

A Windows Vista or later 64-bit PC, an Intel Core Duo or faster processor, a Steam account and an internet connection for activation.

Will the 80256 Steam version run on my older Windows Vista machine?

Yes, the minimum specification lists Windows Vista 64-bit as supported, so the game should launch on that OS.
