12X Glass Lens with 35in Swing Arm

This DeWalt magnifier combines a 12X real glass lens measuring 4.2 inches with a 35-inch three-section swing arm supported by six springs and four knobs. The extra-long reach lets the head cover large workbenches or overhead tasks without moving the base. It suits soldering, model assembly, fine painting, crafting and reading small print.

Removable Helping Hands and Head-Mounted Controls

Two 9.33-inch gooseneck arms with alligator clips attach to the swing arm and can be positioned through 360 degrees of bending. Each clip has a detachable rubber cover for board protection. Five color modes and ten brightness levels are adjusted from the lamp head, while the 12-watt circular LED array provides broad, uniform illumination.

4-Way Metal Clamp and Fold-Away Design

A four-way metal clamp secures the unit to bench edges without permanent mounting. The arm folds up out of the way when not in use, saving bench space. The package ships in a 13 by 9 by 1.5 inch container and contains a two-pack of the magnifier units.

Questions about this item

How often will the 12W LED light source need replacement?

The integrated 12W LED module is designed for long service life and typically does not require routine replacement; if output degrades after many years the entire head assembly would be serviced.

What limits continuous all-day operation of the 12X magnifier lamp?

The 12W LED and spring-balanced arm run continuously without a stated thermal limit; the gooseneck helping-hands clips may need occasional repositioning during very long sessions.

How much heat and noise does the lamp produce when running all day?

The 12W circular LED emits low heat and operates silently; the metal clamp and 35-inch arm stay cool to the touch during extended use.
