Coin scale with 1000 g capacity

This DeWalt TK - 1000 digital pocket scale weighs coins, gold, silver and jewellery up to 1000 g with a resolution of .1 g. The transparent cover protects the weighing surface and doubles as a tray. Six weighing units, tare function and a backlit display suit collectors and anyone checking precious-metal weights at home or on the move.

Upgrade from lower-capacity pocket scales

The 1000 g capacity lets you weigh larger batches or heavier items that smaller pocket scales cannot handle. The jump is worth it when you regularly verify bullion, sort mixed coin lots or need a single device for both fine jewellery and heavier collectibles.

Limits of battery-powered pocket scales

Operation relies on two AAA alkaline cells, so the scale must be kept supplied with fresh batteries for consistent readings. The plastic housing and manual movement type are not built for continuous industrial throughput or environments with vibration, moisture or temperature extremes. Buyers needing legal-for-trade certification or data-logging output should look elsewhere.
