Scale and purpose

This 1/50 scale diecast model replicates the CAT 770 Off-Highway Truck in a weathered finish, complete with an operator figure and dirt base plate. It is built for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed, true-to-scale construction vehicle replicas. The model arrives in a collectible flip-top box with die-cut foam protection.

Display durability

Constructed from diecast metal with small plastic parts, the model is designed for shelf display rather than repeated handling. Real rubber tires with authentic tread and a weathered paint finish resist fading under normal indoor conditions, while the foam insert and outer sleeve protect the piece during storage. Moving parts such as the tipping dump box and tailgate operate smoothly but are not rated for frequent cycling.

Decisive specification

The 1/50 scale determines whether this replica fits an existing collection or diorama, as it fixes the model footprint at approximately 5.25 inches long, 2 inches wide and 2.5 inches high. Buyers who need a different scale to match other vehicles will find this size incompatible.
