Scale & audience

This 1/50 scale diecast model replicates the CAT 798 AC Mining Truck in authentic Cat machine yellow with Modern Hex trade dress. It is built for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed construction-vehicle replicas with high-fidelity detail. The High Line Series packaging includes a collectible full-color printed metal box with a die-cut foam insert.

Build integration

The model arrives in manufacturer-original unopened packaging and requires no assembly, power or additional components to display. Its self-contained design frees shelf space by combining the truck, detailed cab interior with removable operator, inverter cabinet, hydraulic tank and retarder details in a single piece. Movable elements such as the three-stage dump bed, powered access ladder and opening engine compartment add interactive interest without extra tools.

Sustained handling

Diecast metal construction with plastic accents provides durable weight for repeated positioning of the dump bed, ladder and engine compartment. Authentic tire tread patterns, rock knockers, body cables and grab rails retain crisp detail through regular handling. The foam-lined metal box protects the model during storage and transport, preserving paint and decals over long-term ownership.
