Scale and purpose

This 1/87 scale diecast replica of the CAT D5M Track-Type Tractor is built for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who value officially licensed construction vehicle models. Authentic Cat Machine Yellow paint and true-to-scale detail across the interior and exterior make it a display piece rather than a toy for play.

Display fit and packaging

The compact blister pack measures approximately 2 inches long, 1.375 inches wide and 1.5 inches high, allowing flexible shelf placement without a large footprint. A pull-back tab on the bottom opens the secure window box, and the model itself has no moving openings so it stays exactly as posed.

Long-term shelf presence

Diecast metal construction with selective plastic parts resists warping and paint fade over years of static display. The sealed blister packaging protects the model from dust and handling marks, preserving the modern Hex trade dress and safety decals in their original condition.
