Connect IT 16/48 dual power supply kit

The Digi International Connect IT 16/48 dual power supply kit is designed for server deployments requiring redundant power. It supports installations where serial ports are serviced in a cold aisle configuration. The kit suits data centre environments needing reliable power distribution for critical infrastructure.

Port-side intake for cold aisle deployment

The port-side intake design directs airflow from the cold aisle directly into the unit. This layout supports deployments where serial ports face the cold aisle or the device operates in ambient conditions. The configuration ensures consistent cooling alignment with standard data centre airflow management practices.

Questions about this item

Will the fan assembly need replacement after extended operation?

The kit uses port-side intake airflow; fan replacement intervals depend on the deployment environment and duty cycle.

What thermal limit appears first during continuous load?

Ambient temperature in the cold aisle or deployment space will constrain sustained operation before the supply itself reaches its internal threshold.
