Aluminium enclosure converts a single M.2 NVMe SSD into a portable USB 3.1 Type-C drive with 10 Gbps transfer speed
This aluminum enclosure converts a single M.2 NVMe SSD into a portable USB 3.1 Type-C drive. It accepts 2280, 2260 and 2242 form factors and uses the full metal body as a heatsink for sustained operation. A USB Type-C to Type-A cable is included for immediate connection to legacy ports.
The enclosure is designed exclusively for NVMe M-key drives and will not work with M.2 SATA or AHCI protocol SSDs. Buyers who want to use a SATA-based M.2 module should look at a different enclosure that explicitly supports that protocol.
The supplied USB 3.1 Type-C to Type-A cable lets you plug into standard Type-A hosts without buying an adapter. High-precision CNC machining ensures the SSD and controller make firm thermal contact with the aluminum chassis, helping maintain performance during extended transfers.

The enclosure accepts 2280 2260 and 2242 NVMe M.2 SSDs with M-key connectors; SATA or AHCI M.2 drives are not supported.
Yes, the enclosure uses USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C for up to 10 Gbps; the included Type-C to Type-A cable works with Type-A ports, while a Type-C to Type-C cable is needed for native Type-C hosts.
Run ATTO Disk Benchmark with a Samsung 960 EVO 250G NVMe SSD on a USB 3.1 Gen 2 port; sequential read and write results approaching the 10 Gbps ceiling confirm full-speed operation.
