This digital indoor thermometer features a 5.8 inch HD LCD screen that shows temperature, humidity, comfort level, max and min records, plus the date and time. A touch on the top activates the backlight for fifteen seconds when the unit runs on backup batteries. Simple buttons on the back handle manual settings and Celsius or Fahrenheit switching.

Power Options and Setup

The monitor is designed to stay plugged in so you can choose from three brightness levels. Without external power it switches to AAA batteries and the display dims automatically; touching the top lights it for fifteen seconds. The sensor refreshes every ten seconds and the unit arrives pre-calibrated, with a calibration feature available if you need to match readings from another device.

Home Health Monitoring

The comfort indicator uses a colour circle to show dry, comfort or wet air conditions at a glance, making it useful for families watching indoor air quality. It covers a temperature range of 14.2F to 158F with ±1 accuracy and humidity from 10% to 99% with ±5%RH accuracy. Buyers who need remote alerts, data logging or smart-home integration should look at a different type of monitor.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the thermometer is reading correctly after I set it up?

The sensor updates every 10 seconds; watch the display settle within the ±1 °C temperature and ±5 % RH humidity tolerances, and confirm the comfort ring shows DRY, COMFORT or WET accordingly.

What comes in the box and what must I buy separately?

The unit includes the thermometer with built-in sensor; you need to supply AAA batteries for backup power or a USB cable and adapter for continuous operation with adjustable brightness.

Should I choose the battery-only or mains-powered way to run it?

Mains power lets you pick Dim, Medium or Bright backlight permanently; on batteries the screen dims automatically and only lights for 15 seconds when you touch the top.
