Piccadilly Case for iPhone X and XS

The Gear4 Piccadilly is a protective case made for the Apple iPhone X and iPhone XS. It combines a clear polycarbonate shell with D3O impact-absorbing material in a black metallic finish. The slim profile preserves the handset's lines while adding drop, scratch and knock resistance. Buyers wanting a case for any other phone model should look elsewhere.

Fitting the case and common issues

The case snaps onto the handset in seconds with no tools required. Precise cut-outs give immediate access to the Lightning port, speakers, buttons and mute switch. The only reported difficulty is the snug fit around the camera bezel, which may need a firm press to seat fully. Wireless charging works through the case without removal.

D3O impact protection and UV coating

The decisive specification is the D3O layer inside the clear polycarbonate back. This material stays flexible in normal use but stiffens on impact to absorb shock from drops and knocks. A UV-resistant coating on the exterior prevents the clear shell from yellowing and resists everyday scratches. If you need a case without this specific impact technology, this is not the right choice.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the Gear4 Piccadilly case is protecting my iPhone X or XS after I fit it?

The case uses D3O material that stays flexible until impact, then stiffens to absorb shock; confirm it is working by checking the snug fit around all edges, the clear polycarbonate back showing no gaps, and that wireless charging still functions through the slim profile.

What exactly comes inside the Gear4 Piccadilly packaging and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains only the Piccadilly case — a clear polycarbonate shell with metallic colour-matched D3O bumpers — so you will need to supply your own screen protector, charging cable and power adapter if you do not already have them.

Which version of the Gear4 Piccadilly should I choose for my black iPhone X or XS?

Select the black colourway; it is the single variant listed for iPhone X and XS compatibility and provides the metallic-finish D3O interior that coordinates with a black handset.
