Portable Music System for Dancers

The Pioneer STZ-D10T-G is a compact portable music system designed for intermediate dancers and small groups. It offers 4 GB of internal memory for MP3, WMA, AAC, and LPCM playback. A covered, retractable dock supports iPod and iPhone devices. The system operates on six AA batteries or the included AC adapter for flexible power options.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

Two 40 mm full-range drivers deliver a combined RMS output of 2.5 W per channel into 4 Ohms. Frequency response spans 100 Hz to 20 kHz for clear audio reproduction. The 2.4 inch QVGA LCD provides visual feedback during operation. A shock-resistant and water-resistant enclosure protects internal components during transport and outdoor use.

Questions about this item

How do I power the STZ-D10T-G for the first time, and which step do people forget?

Connect the included AC adapter or insert six AA batteries; the step often missed is removing the dock cover before placing an iPod or iPhone onto the retractable connector.

What part of the STZ-D10T-G will need replacement after extended use?

The six AA batteries are the only user-replaceable power component; the sealed enclosure and fixed 40 mm drivers are not designed for owner servicing.

What limits the STZ-D10T-G during a long rehearsal at full volume?

Battery drain on AA cells arrives first; the 2.5 W + 2.5 W output and 4 GB memory remain constant, but runtime drops sharply at maximum level.
