Dixie 10 oz Paper Bowls 72 Count

These Dixie disposable paper bowls come in a 72-count pack with a 10-ounce capacity. They feature a Soak-Proof Shield that resists grease, sauces and dressings. The bowls are microwave-safe and cut-resistant for reheating and cutting leftovers. They are compostable in commercial facilities where available, except in California.

For households and gatherings needing single-use

The pack suits families, picnics, parties and barbecues where quick cleanup is wanted. Buyers who need reusable tableware or larger serving bowls should look at other options. The bowls are not intended for oven cooking despite heat resistance for microwave use. Commercial composting access is required for the compostable benefit.

10-ounce capacity with Soak-Proof Shield

Each bowl holds 10 ounces of hot or cold food such as soup, chili, ice cream or salad. The Soak-Proof Shield prevents liquids from soaking through the paper material. This capacity and leak resistance are the key specifications that determine suitability for your meal portions.

Questions about this item

How do I set up the 15981 bowls for a microwave reheating session without the Soak-Proof Shield failing?

Place a single 10 oz bowl in the centre of the turntable, heat only the recommended time for the food type, and avoid stacking bowls so steam cannot soften the shield from above.

When will the 72-count pack need to be replenished if I use two 10 oz bowls every weekday for snacks?

At ten bowls per week the pack lasts roughly seven weeks; keep the remaining bowls in their original sleeve away from humidity to prevent premature softening.

What is the first limitation that appears when the 15981 bowls hold hot chili at 10 oz for longer than the microwave cycle?

The paper sidewall begins to transmit heat to the hand after about two minutes, signalling the practical serving-time limit before a holder or second bowl is needed.
