Compact Two-Hole Design

The Dixon pencil sharpener accepts two standard pencil diameters in a single green and yellow housing that measures 2 by 2 by 1.25 inches. It is built for classrooms, offices and home desks where a small, manual tool keeps writing instruments ready without needing power or batteries.

Replaces Single-Hole Models

A single-hole sharpener forces users to switch tools when pencil sizes change, while this unit handles both common diameters in one step. The upgrade is worth it when a shared supply cabinet stocks mixed pencils and downtime spent hunting the right sharpener adds up.

Steady Shaving Under Repeated Use

The all-metal cutting blades keep a consistent edge through many pencils sharpened in succession, and the shavings chamber holds the waste until it is emptied. No motor means there is no thermal throttle, so the result stays uniform from the first pencil to the last.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 2 x 2 x 1.25 inch sharpener occupy?

The sharpener measures two inches deep by two inches high by one point two five inches wide, so it fits in a small drawer or on a crowded desk.

What is the correct way to insert a pencil into the two holes, and what mistake should I avoid?

Match the pencil diameter to the appropriate hole, insert straight in, and turn the pencil — not the sharpener — to prevent uneven wear on the blades.

When will the blades on this Dixon sharpener need replacement?

Replace the unit when pencils no longer come to a clean point or when shavings become dust instead of curls, as the blades are not user-serviceable.
