DJI 55721 2K 30FPS Webcam

The DJI 55721 is a USB 2.0 video capturing device that delivers up to 2K resolution at 30 frames per second. It is designed for professionals, students and streamers who need clear 1440p video for conferences, calls or live broadcasts. A built-in privacy cover and dual microphones add security and audio clarity for everyday use.

Check USB 2.0 Port and 2K Software Support

Verify that your computer has an available USB 2.0 Type-A port and that your operating system, monitor and conferencing software all support 2K output. The camera uses fixed focus with a minimum working distance of 50 cm, so ensure your mounting position allows at least that separation. Driver-free plug-and-play operation works on Windows, macOS and Linux without extra installation.

Upgrade from 1080p Fixed-Focus Cameras

This model replaces older 1080p fixed-focus webcams that lack a privacy cover or dual-microphone noise reduction. The jump is worth it when you need the sharper 1440p image, a wider 95° field of view for group scenes, and the physical lens cover for instant privacy. It does not suit buyers who require autofocus tracking or 4K resolution.

Questions about this item

Does the 55721 webcam ship with a privacy cover, or do I need to buy one separately?

The 55721 includes a built-in privacy cover that slides over the lens, so no separate cover is required.

The specs list 2K at 30 FPS and 1080p — which resolution should I pick for daily video calls?

Choose 2K at 30 FPS for maximum detail if your software and USB 2.0 bandwidth support it; otherwise 1080p at 30 FPS is the reliable fallback.

What does the 95° field of view actually show when I sit at my desk?

At the recommended 50 cm focus distance the 95° FOV captures a wide desktop scene, suitable for showing documents or a second person beside you.
