DJI EMEET SmartCam S600 4K Webcam

The DJI EMEET SmartCam S600 is a 4K video capturing device that connects via USB 2.0. It uses a Sony 1/2.55 inch sensor and offers phase detection autofocus with automatic light balance. The camera delivers up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second or 1080p at 60 frames per second. It includes dual noise-reducing microphones and a built-in privacy cover.

Streamers and creators needing flexible resolution

This webcam suits users who want 4K at 30 fps for detail or 1080p at 60 fps for smoother motion, with a field of view adjustable between 40 and 73 degrees at 1080p. Buyers who require a wider fixed field of view at 4K or need wireless connectivity should look elsewhere. The fixed 73-degree view at 4K may limit framing options for some setups.

4K at 30 fps and 1080p at 60 fps

The sensor comfortably handles 4K UHD video at 30 frames per second and 1080p at 60 frames per second using YUY2 or MJPEG codecs. Digital scaling supports the adjustable field of view at lower resolutions. The USB 2.0 interface and lack of onboard memory card storage define the data and recording limits.

Questions about this item

Does my computer need a specific USB version to run the 4K webcam?

The webcam connects via USB 2.0, so any standard USB-A port on a desktop or laptop will carry the 4K signal without extra hardware.

Will the webcam still focus quickly if I keep an older USB 2.0 hub in my setup?

Yes, the PDAF autofocus operates entirely inside the camera and works over the USB 2.0 link, so an older hub does not slow focus speed.

How can I verify the camera is actually streaming at 1080p 60FPS after I plug it in?

Open OBS or PotPlayer, select the S600 as the video source, and check the active resolution and frame rate shown in the software’s status bar.
