The DJI Webcam X60 4K Kit ZX-W101 is a video capturing device built for streaming and meetings. It connects via USB A and USB C adapters to laptops, personal computers, smartphones and tablets. Plug and play operation means no extra drivers are required for immediate use. Buyers needing internal capture cards or SDI inputs should look elsewhere.

Tripod mount privacy cover dual mics

A tripod is included for flexible positioning on any desk or shelf. The integrated privacy cover slides across the lens when the camera is not active. Dual built-in microphones capture clear audio up to 16.4ft distance. PDAF autofocus locks on subjects within a fixed 7.9118 inch range while auto light correction balances exposure.

3840 pixel MP4 output at 1080p

The sensor produces a 3840 pixel signal encoded as MP4 video at up to 1080p resolution. Audio is recorded in multiple formats including MP3, WAV, AAC, FLAC and OPUS. YUY2 and MJPG modes are available through the memory card slot. This specification determines whether the webcam matches your recording or streaming pipeline.

Questions about this item

Does the USB-A and USB-C adapter limit the webcam to 1080p in practice despite the 4K label?

The webcam captures up to 1080p video and outputs MP4 at 3840 pixels; the adapter does not add extra resolution beyond the sensor capability.

What physical items are included so the webcam can sit on a desk or attach to a monitor?

The kit includes a tripod and a privacy cover; the webcam itself weighs .48 pounds and has a 3.8 inch UHD display.

How do you set up the webcam on a computer and what common step is missed?

Connect the USB-A or USB-C adapter, allow the system to install the plug-and-play driver, then slide the privacy cover open; users often forget to uncover the lens.
