Two mechanical keys are included as a backup method. The unit is designed for indoor or outdoor installation on residential or rental properties.

DIY Installation and Door Fit

The lock fits 99 percent of standard US and Canadian wooden doors and mounts with a screwdriver in about 15 minutes. A reversible handle suits left-hand or right-hand swing. The aluminium body carries an IP54 rating for weather resistance. Four AA batteries power the mechanism; they are not supplied with the product.
