Magnetic Stylus for iPad 2018-2026

The DONTEN D716 is a magnetic active stylus built for iPad models released from 2018 through 2026. It works with iPad 6th to 11th generation, iPad Air 3rd to 5th generation plus M2 and M3, iPad Pro 11‑inch and 12.9‑inch 3rd to 6th generation, and iPad mini 5th generation. The pen targets students, note‑takers and digital artists who need a precise input tool without Bluetooth pairing.

Tilt sensitivity and magnetic attachment

A 1.5 mm wear‑resistant nib provides tilt‑sensitive input for natural shading and pixel‑precise drawing. Full palm rejection lets you rest your hand on the screen while writing or sketching. The barrel magnetically snaps to the side of compatible iPads, keeping the stylus secure and charged. Double‑tap the top to power on instantly with no apps or drivers required.

USB‑C fast charging

The stylus charges via USB‑C and the supplier states a 3× fast‑charge rate. A short charge session delivers extended drawing and note‑taking time. The pen weighs 0.01 kg and measures 7.52 in × 2.4 in × .6 in. It is not compatible with iPhone, Android, Microsoft devices or iPad models released before 2018.

Questions about this item

How often will the 1.5mm nib need replacing?

The 1.5mm wear-resistant nib is built for long life; replacement frequency depends on your drawing pressure and daily usage time.

What limits continuous drawing sessions?

Battery runtime is the first limit; the pen charges via USB-C with 3X fast charge so downtime stays short.

Does the pen get warm or noisy during all-day use?

No moving parts or active cooling means silent operation and negligible heat even after hours of sketching.
