Questions about this item

Should I pick the 8.5x11 inch 20-sheet pad or look for a different size?

This pad is only offered in the 8.5 by 11 inch format with 20 sheets, so choose it if that size fits your project; otherwise you will need a different product.

What does the 140 lb 300 gsm weight mean when I am actually painting?

At 140 lb and 300 gsm the sheet handles heavy washes without buckling, accepts wet and dry media from watercolour to acrylic, and resists bleed-through during layered work.

Is the cold-press texture tied to a specific paper standard that limits what I can use?

The cold-press surface is an acid-free artist paper, not a proprietary coating, so it works with watercolour, gouache, ink, pencil, pastel and other common media without restriction.
