Largest Soft Dragon Plush

The Douglas Toys Super Sootie is the largest member of the Soft Dragon family, measuring 12 inches sitting. It is designed for children over 24 months and collectors who want a substantial, huggable fantasy companion. The plush uses deluxe materials and a weighted body that rests comfortably on a lap.

Weighted Design for Calm Play

The weighted construction keeps the dragon stable when seated, encouraging extended cuddling sessions rather than brief handling. Velvety soft wings provide tactile stimulation that invites repeated petting. Glittery sapphire blue eyes add visual interest that holds attention during imaginative scenarios.

Machine Washable Durability

The plush is fully machine washable, so regular cleaning does not degrade the fabrics or the weighted fill. Designed in Keene, New Hampshire by a maker with over 60 years of experience, the construction withstands repeated wash cycles. Safe for all ages over 24 months, it meets standard safety requirements for long-term use.

Questions about this item

Does the 12-inch dragon plush get warm or make noise if it sits on a bed all day?

The Super Sootie dragon has no electronics, motors or batteries, so it produces no heat and makes no sound however long it is left out.

What does the buyer need to already own for this stuffed dragon to be ready to use?

Nothing — the plush arrives fully assembled with its weighted filling and embroidered details in place, so no extra parts or tools are required.

Can the 12-inch dragon share a shelf with older plush toys that are only surface-washable?

Yes — this dragon is machine washable, so it can be cleaned more thoroughly than surface-only toys without damaging them.
