Compact magnetic torpedo level

The DOWELL 9 inch magnetic spirit level is a small aluminium torpedo level for DIYers, decorators and cabinet installers who need a pocket-sized tool for everyday levelling jobs around the home or workshop.

Three vials cover the common angles

It carries three clear cylindrical vials showing horizontal, vertical and 45 degree readings, while the top opening lets you sight the vertical vial from above for a continuous line of sight. The magnetic edge holds firmly to ferrous surfaces so the level stays in place while you work.

Not suited for long spans or precision surveying

The 9 inch length limits its use to short runs such as shelves, picture frames or cabinet faces; builders who need to level full wall lengths or check fall over metres will need a longer straight edge.

Questions about this item

Does the level come in other lengths or vial counts?

The listing covers only the 9 inch model with three vials for horizontal, vertical and 45° readings.

What does the 45° vial actually help with on site?

It lets you check mitre joints, stair stringers and any 45 degree slope without guessing.

How does the magnetic edge affect use on non-ferrous surfaces?

The magnet holds firmly to steel beams or pipe; on aluminium, wood or plastic you simply use it as a normal level.
