Design and construction

The Dowinx LS-6657D is a fabric-upholstered gaming chair built on a metal frame with five wheels and a 300 lb weight limit. Its seat cushion uses individually pocketed springs instead of conventional foam, while a flat cushion profile removes side wings to increase usable sitting area. A detachable gel pad and tech fabric covering are included to improve airflow during long sessions.

Intended use and limitations

The chair suits desk workers and gamers who want a breathable, spring-supported seat that reclines from 90 to 135 degrees and includes a vibrating lumbar pillow, adjustable headrest and footrest. Buyers needing a leather finish, a narrower seat for smaller frames, or a higher recline angle should look at other models.

Deciding specification

The individually pocketed spring seat cushion is the feature that defines comfort and support on this model, distributing weight independently across each spring. If that construction matches your preference, the chair fits; if you prefer solid foam or a contoured bucket seat, it will not.

Questions about this item

What is the recline range of the backrest and what does it limit in practice?

The backrest reclines from 90° to 135°, capping the angle for upright work or a relaxed lean.

What are the seat width and total weight, and how do they affect fit through a doorway?

The seat is 19.7 inches wide and the chair weighs 40.3 lbs, so it fits standard door frames and is manageable to carry.

How is the chair assembled and which step is often missed?

Bolt the base, cylinder, seat, backrest and armrests together; the step often missed is fully tightening every bolt after the first sit.
